Party

After getting back from vacation we got to go to a birthday party for my cousin Mackenzie. There was a puppet show which I actually sat through.

I sat with Dziadziu for some of it. And of course there was cake which I love!

Florida

On Monday Mommy came into my room at 4:00 to get me up for vacation! I didn't really understand what vacation was, but I got into the car and away we went. Then we were in a parking lot and got onto a shuttle....I did not like this one bit! I cried on the shuttle, I wanted Mommy's car! Then we got to the airport and did not like that either! I didn't stop crying until we were a big line and Daddy took me out of the stroller. Then we got onto an airplane! I was a very good boy on the plane! We the plane landed, we were in Florida! I have no idea where Florida is, but it was warmer then home. After going to our hotel we went to Mimi and Grampy's and I got to go in the little pool!

I could stand up in so I liked that a lot!

I think that my swim classes are paying off because I really liked being in the pool.

My first day was very exciting, and very tiring! We all went to bed early and I slept for almost 12 hours!

Florida Part 2

On my second day, we went to a state park that was on the water. It was very windy, but I was able to run around on the beach.

There was also a little trail nearby! I love walking on paths, I did miss walking it with my beagles though!

There was a break wall on the beach and I was picking up shells and throwing them in the little pools.

Then after a long day we headed back to the hotel in the vacation car. I was very sleepy.

That night I took a bath in the sink because the shower had no tub! Then Daddy read books to me before bed (I was spoiled and slept with Mommy and Daddy in the big bed!!!!)

Florida Part 3

We went to a little science center in the morning. Here I am with Grampy and Mimi looking at the turtle.

On our last day we went out to dinner and then walked around a little park on the water. Here's a pelican waiting for food from the guys fishing!

And of course I did lots of running around!

But all good things must end! Mommy and I at the airport (this is the only picture with Mommy!) I made a friend, Cooper, at the airport and his hair was almost at crazy as mine!

Then I got all buckled into my seat for the flight home! I stayed awake the whole time and was a good boy again!

We got home very late that night and I am still adjusting to a little lack of sleep...Mommy is hoping that I am back to normal by Monday!

Boots

Mommy got me some rain boots and I love them because I can put them on by myself! I wear them all the time now. Mommy also put me in some underwear for a trail run!

Then I went on the potty....I threw a fit until Mommy put my boots back on while I was on the potty! I wonder if WPI would like one of these pictures for their catalog???
Then Mommy took me out to meet the Turkey vultures...They are really big and come flying out of the woods in the back when you make noise! But Mommy said there were only about 10 so far and that one year they had about 50!!!

Reading

After my bath I like to play in Mommy's bed and read my books...under the covers.

I get all the pillows piled up and Mommy and Daddy get me new books when I need them!

Swimming

Today was my 1st swim class at the Y. Well everything started off OK. It was so steamy in there that Mommies camera was fogging up. We started off sitting on the edge, kicking and splashing in the pool. Well, then they wanted us to get in the pool, and I was not ready for that!

I tried to make a run for it! I had enough! I threw a fit and started crying! Mommy and Daddy tried to get me back in, but then we had to leave. Mommy said that she would try to take me to the open swim this week to see if I like it better.....we'll see!

Since I was a good boy after that and took a good nap and ate all my dinner, they let my try out the DVD on Daddy's laptop. Of course I watched Cars!!
